Here we are -- at the end of Astral Law, my third album, released serially here on Workbench Recordings. All fourteen tracks are now posted online. It's been a long, winding road, as you can see from the out-of-sequence posting dates below -- but it's been worth it.

Releasing an album this way, I found, really made me face up to each track in a way that I hadn't had to on my previous two albums. Not that any of the albums were packed with filler, but each one, including Astral Law, was designed as an album. Breaking it up into each constituent part put a lot of pressure on each track. I had my doubts about some of them along the way, but they all came through in the end.

You might notice a few changes here on the website, including the new comment capability at the bottom of each post. But the most significant change is that we're now going to be posting monthly instead of weekly. This is going to enable us to keep up, and hopefully increase, the quality of each individual post, and to offer works by some new artists -- something I especially want to concentrate on now that Astral Law is complete. To keep in touch between posts, join our Facebook page, or follow us on Twitter. Thanks for coming along with us on the trip so far.
